How it began
It started small, just a teenager and a dream—one chair, one table, a single sheet of services coughed up by a cheap inkjet printer. Before Aerial Internet Solutions, before we started managing anyone’s IT, before we had a store or partnerships with some of the biggest names in tech, there was just John Shoff: a tech nerd with talent, a dream and a whole lot of drive.
That’s how Reality Bytes was born, on January 11, 1998.
You might imagine how tough it was in those early days, but John’s deep understanding of technology and IT quickly began to make an impact in Drumheller. Reality Bytes started to grow. One tech became two, and before long, we were opening our first store.
Now, after expanding into Medicine Hat in 2020, we have over twenty staff across two locations in southern Alberta, with remote workers in three provinces and even overseas—technicians and internet installers, a growing sales team, marketing and social media experts, web and graphic designers. And after acquiring Aerial Internet Solutions in 2022, we are now able to provide more services to southern Alberta and beyond than ever before.
Things are ever improving. Technology is always advancing, and we are at the cutting edge, ensuring that your service only ever gets better.
